Dr. Fisher Farma B.V. was established in 1992. In 1999 the company became part of listed company Fornix BioSciences. Since October 2007 Fisher Farma has been a subsidiary of the cooperative Mosadex u.a. All the Fisher Farma operations are conducted at the Vijzelweg in Lelystad, where some 80 employees perform day-to-day activities. With a turnover exceeding 70 million euro in 2008, Fisher Farma is an important player in the market of Eurospecialités.

Fisher Farma was the first company in the Netherlands to register refrigerated products such as insulin and growth hormones as Eurospecialités and still maintains an excellent position in this field. At present the company's product range consists of approximately 750 different medications, medical aids and food products. Factors that are relevant to the success of the company are, among other things, customisation for individual customers and a state of the art stock control system. Together with the Xelion company from Delft a special programme was developed for this purpose, which integrates all the operational processes.

Combined with a professional purchasing and sales system the above factors ensure the excellent supply reliability of the Fisher Farma products.
